As an Istanbulian :) I thought I should correct: It should read: "to the formerly Christian side Beyoğlu on the European side". The waters you see there is just a river on the Europan side called HALIÇ, also named "the Golden Horn" and NOT THE BOSPHORUS between Europe and Asia. Both parts of the city are on WESTERN and EUROPEAN ground.

on April 24, 2006Hello dear victoriaJZ, i living in Istanbul=) i look your photos in here. all photos very nice and esthetic because colors and composition very harmonic. this eminonu-karakoy photograph nice. all people generally taken only galata tower but your taken steamboat and bus stop=) im sorry.. i know a little english lang. have nice day...
